July 2006 2nd Meeting of the President

July 2006, we received another invitation to the White House to attend another press conference of the Presidents. The senate was due to vote on and pass the bill allowing new embryos to be destroyed using federal funds for research. The Presidential press conference was to take place after Presidents Bush's very first veto. Peter was unable to go but Suzanne and Mary did. What an honor to see the US PRESIDENT stand before us honoring and fighting for the tiniest of human lives, human embryos. It was a whirlwind trip but amazing to get to meet him a second time....And this time the White House Photographer didn't mess up (our first trip to meet the president our picture didn't turn out..LOL).
